It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Hunter Breedlove. Cedar Sinai Park (CSP) provides residential and community-based care to our elders and adults with special needs. We provide nursing home care, independent and assisted living, adult day services, affordable housing for seniors and persons with disabilities, and in home care services. I first came to know Hunter in early 2011 when an illness required that I be away from the company for a period of time. I hired Hunter as an IT Administrator. With a few short weeks of training Hunter jumped right in and began supporting our employees as I sought treatment. He handled the situation in an exemplary manner. I returned to work some time later and CSP came to the conclusion that we just did not have the work load to continue to employ Hunter.

In January 2013, I called Hunter to ask if he would consider returning to help our department as we implemented Electronic Medical Records. Hunter began work for us at that time as an IT Administrator. I asked Hunter to support all technology and users throughout the organization, while I concentrated on the implementation of our EMR. His duties included maintaining and managing AD, end user support, maintenance of clinical hardware and software, printer maintenance, backup software management, wireless network hardware and software management, new technology setup and network security. During this time I was Hunter’s direct supervisor and worked with him closely. In this role I was able to develop a good sense of his skills and work ethic.

Above all Hunter has proven himself to be an extremely dedicated and dependable employee. Hunter is always eager to learn new skills and comes to work each day ready to participate in whatever tasks need to get done. When introduced to new hardware or software, Hunter showed a willingness to invest the time necessary to learn how to use each. Finally, Hunter was willing to work any shift or hours required to support the employees and technology here at CSP. We are a 24/7 operation that requires our IT staff to work weekends and late evenings. Hunter was asked to work many weekends and late shifts for us.

Hunter’s recent lay-off was the result of a reduction in available hours in our department and not a result of any performance issues. Because of his proven commitment to our company I would not hesitate to recommend Hunter as a technology support professional.
